Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ lineage is divided into three parts.
- From Muhammad ﷺ to ‘Adnan (authenticity agreed)
- From ‘Adnan to Ibrahim AS (various disagreements)
- From Ibrahim AS to Adam AS (some parts are incorrect)
Part 1:
Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim bin Abd Manaf bin Qusai bin Kilab bin Murrah bin Ka’b bin Lo’ay bin Ghalib bin Quraish bin Malik bin An-Nadr bin Kinanah bin Khuzaimah bin Mudrikah bin Elias bin Mudar bin Nizar bin Ma’ad bin ‘Adnan

The Prophetic Family:
Hashim:
-he was the one responsible for giving food and water to the pilgrims
-wealthy and honest
-was the first to offer the pilgrims sopped bread in broth
-first name was Amr
-married Salma bint Amr in Madinah
-died in Gaza in Palestine in 497 CE
-wife gave birth to Abdul Muttalib and named him Shaibah
-had four sons: Asad, Abu Saifi, Nadlah, and Abdul Muttalib
-had five daughters: As Shifa, Khalidah, Da’ifah, Ruqaiyah, and Jannah
Abdul Muttalib:
-after Hashim died, his brother al-Mutallib was in charge of the pilgrims’ food and water
-al Mutallib took Abdul Muttalib to Makkah
-when Al Muttalib died in Radman in Yemen, Abdul Muttalib took over the job
-his honorable behavior gained him Makkah’s depe love and high esteem
-had 10 sons: Al Harith, Az Zubair, Abu Talib, Abdullah, Hamzah, Abu Lahab, Al Ghidaq, Maqwam (abdul ka’bah), Safar, al Abbas
-had 6 daughters: Ummul Hakim, Barrah, ‘Attika, Safiyah, Arwa, and Umaimah
Abdullah:
-father of the prophet ﷺ
-mother of Abdullah was Fatimah bint Amr bin Aidh, bin imran bin Makhzum bin Yaqzah bin Murray
-brightest of Abdul Muttalib’s sons, most chaste, and most loved
-married Aminah bint Wahb bin Abd Manaf bin Zuhrah bin Kilab
-died in Madinah at 25 years old
-death was either two months before the birth of the prophet ﷺ
-or two or more months after the birth of the prophet ﷺ
